t00iin: Digital Identities And Monetising Personal Data

Recently launched in Luxembourg, t00iin aims to help users access the internet of tomorrow and take control of their personal data. Guillaume Coursin, CEO of tooiin tells us more.

What problem does t00iin solve?

Our solution solves two main problems. Firstly, it solves the lack of trust which people have when it comes to companies storing and managing their personal data. With t00iin we aim to deliver a universal identity management platform where the users are in complete control of their personal data. This means that when you create a digital identity with myeggO you can decide if you want to share your personal data with other companies and receive money in return.

Secondly, we tackle the carbon footprint of online clothing sales which is weighed down by merchandise returns. With our 3D body scanner, our myeggO generator and a suite of applications, we can not only make it possible to decrease merchandise purchases thanks to advice on sizing and virtual fitting, but we can also become an accelerator for the sale of clothing online. 

You help users create a 3D digital identity which they can use throughout web3 and the metaverse. What are some of the benefits of doing this via t00in?

We have identified three major advantages of creating a digital identity with t00in.

  1. Security: You are completely in control of your personal data. In 2023, you will be able to decide if you want to share your data or not and if you want to do so for free or at a price. t00iin is also an “avatar-as-a-service platform” which develops services “around” the digital twin/avatar that aims to protect women and children in the metaverse.
  2. Monetization: You will be able to monetize your personal data by receiving cash-back rewards whenever a transaction is made that includes your personal data. Users will be able to choose between currencies or crypto money. The t00iin Platform will have its home on the Archethic blockchain, created specifically to address the problems with digital identity in web3 and the metaverse. 
  3. Accessibility: Creating a digital identity is as easy as going to a photo booth to get your passport photo, and as easy as to use as a Facebook login. With only one t00iin account, users will be able to connect to websites, mobile applications, the metaverse or 3D experiences, etc. 

What are some of today’s use cases for t00iin?

As of today, we have delivered the first t00iin Generator to our client Fitness Park. We have installed the t00iin Generator at their flagship gym in St. Ouen, where the users with the Ultimate Plan have access to one scan per month as well as the application we developed for Fitness Park: Fitness Park Avatar. 

With this application, they can keep track of their progress at the gym by seeing their body changes month to month as well as all of the fitness measurements. Users can also set goals which they can visualise on their digital twin to have an objective to work to and get that extra bit of motivation many gym goers look for.

Although Fitness Park is not present in Luxembourg, this use case can be easily adapted to Fitness competitors present in Luxembourg, and we have lots of other ideas.

What do you hope to achieve in Luxembourg in 2023?

Archethic’s CEO and t00iin’s CEO both live in Luxembourg. So, we are very motivated to achieve amazing things in Luxembourg together. First, we planning to deploy a t00iin concept store in Luxembourg in 2023. As soon as we have finished our fundraising (€1M), we will look for a commercial space to set up our concept store and give all Luxembourg citizens access to our technology.

We also have an agreement from Nhood (Auchan Group) to experiment with our technology in two malls: La Cloche d’Or and Kirchberg Shopping Center. You can see that on our website: every place can subscribe to tooiin.com to receive a t00iin Generator. The subscription is free and places may win money, based on our revenue-sharing models.

We have started discussions with automotive dealers in Luxembourg: we would like to deploy an innovative experience that allows clients to test a car with an immersive social experience.

We would like also to discuss with real estate promotors to deploy an immersive visit of family apartments. Today, virtual visits don’t include humans in the digital experiences. With t00iin, we are able to create digital twins of the whole family and allow them to visit future apartments and project themselves in living rooms, bedrooms, etc.
