Organized in collaboration with its partner Spuerkeess, the competition is aimed at entrepreneurs residing in Luxembourg since 2018 or 2019. Its objectives are to highlight the diversity of companies, help young entrepreneurs put themselves forward and provide a financial boost.

“The competition is open to all entrepreneurs, not just those who have been through our previous programs. We wanted to offer an initiative that highlights and showcases those who dare to take the plunge and essentially build Luxembourg. We are delighted that our partner Spuerkeess also believes in this project and is joining us,” says Nicolas Fries, CEO of nyuko.

Entrepreneurs will be selected based on the economic viability of their businesses, the product-market fit within the Luxembourgish market and their teams. The shortlisted candidates will receive training sessions on pitching and video creation. They will then have two weeks to produce their pitch video on their own. The videos will then be published online and submitted for public voting. The entrepreneur with the most votes from the public will win a sum of 1500 EUR, offered by Spuerkeess.

nyuko is a non-profit association aimed at promoting and facilitating entrepreneurial spirit in Luxembourg. Located in the House of Entrepreneurship, it supports entrepreneurs with its workshops, individual coaching sessions and its online community. The four programmes offered are free and open to all entrepreneurs in the ideation phase. nyuko also operates “Meet an Entrepreneur”, a platform with videos by seasoned entrepreneurs who share their tips to success as well as ways of overcoming obstacles.

Registrations will be open until March 13. The rules of the competition and the registration form are available directly on its site: nyuko.lu.
