Entrepreneurship support platform nyuko has launched two new flexible programmes for wannabe entrepreneurs in the form of MOOCs.

The free online courses can be completed at the learner’s pace and cover the basics of entrpreneurship, in the newcomer package, and the business plan.

“The needs of entrepreneurs are changing and we have adapted to this. They are really looking for online training: it allows them to progress as and when they wish”, explains nyuko director Lucile Barberet.

The newcomer programme has been developed to help hopeful founders explore their options in Luxembourg. It also shares videos from local entrepreneurs to help them find their way in the demanding world of entrepreneurship. The business plan course is aimed at entrepreneurs who want to draw up a business plan to make their project a reality.

“Whatever form their project takes (complementary activity, freelance, company, etc.), the people who contact us are looking to reconcile sense, prudence and independence. These online programmes, which are added to our support offer, provide a concrete response to their request, in line with their new lifestyle,” says Barberet.

Nyuko is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to support entrepreneurs wishing to create their business in Luxembourg. Through its predecessors Business Initiative (1, 2, 3 Go & 1, 2, 3 Go Social) and The Impactory (coworking space), nyuko has some 15 years of experience helping budding entrepreneurs get their projects off the ground.
