This latest collaboration with Luxembourg-based OQ Technology will enable Deutsche Telekom IoT to become the leading transatlantic IoT player.

OQ Technology continues its upward momentum with this new collaboration which expands Deutsche Telekom IoT’s (DT IoT) global reach and connects global roaming SIMs to new cellular and satellite networks.

“With our 10 satellites in orbit and more to be launched we will extend DT IoT’s offering of low latency and large capacity communication using our 3GPP-standard based Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation.”

Omar Qaise, Founder & CEO of OQ Technology.

Deutsche Telekom offers global 5G roaming, enabling Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) solutions deployment worldwide. This collaboration empowers businesses with reliable IoT services, even in previously inaccessible areas.

Integrating seamlessly with Deutsche Telekom’s T IoT Hub layer and Core Network, this partnership aims to develop a hybrid terrestrial plus non-terrestrial network (NTN) combined solution for customers, on compatible devices.

The service data is transmitted securely to customers, requiring only an IoT connectivity contract with DT IoT and it will enable the German operator to be the No.1 Transatlantic IoT player.
