Continuing down its path of eco-responsibility, Orange Luxembourg has embraced a new partnership with Biscuit, enabling it to host all its promotional catalogues digitally.

With more and more companies trying to become eco-friendly, start-ups working on green solutions are faced with new partnership opportunities.

Founded in 2021, Biscuit is one such startup. By hosting a large catalogue of promotional material, its mobile application by the same name aims to help companies reduce their environmental footprint.

With 100 million advertising catalogues being distributed every year in Luxembourg alone – the equivalent of 165,000 trees – this is no doubt an important problem worth tackling. Best of all, this partnership frees up your mailbox.

“By using Biscuit, our desire is clear: we want to become even more digital and continue our ecological transition.”

Orange Transitions

Since the beginning of November, Biscuit users can find Orange’s promotional material on the app. Anytime a new promotion becomes available, the app will notify the users and direct them to Orange Luxembourg’s e-shop.

“By using Biscuit, our desire is clear: we want to become even more digital and continue our ecological transition,” underlines Barbara Fangille, Head of Communication of Orange Luxembourg.

Foldering is very powerful in Luxembourg,” continues Roman Salvi, Manager of OAKLUX Sàrl-s, who founded Biscuit. “By proposing to make its catalogs available in our application, Orange application, Orange Luxembourg is showing itself to be a very pioneering player.”

Welcoming Startups

By partnering with Biscuit, Orange continues its tradition of supporting local talent and innovation. This is not only reflective of Orange’s role in the ecosystem but also helps young start-ups get put their name on the map.

“It’s very gratifying to be able to receive the support of a group like Orange, which gives us, as a young company, a lot of strength,” says Roman Salvi.

Also known for its own accelerator Orange Fab, the company is especially keen on supporting Luxembourg-based startups working on anything related to Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things.
