During this period of just over a month, the platform was a great success with a ~1500 registered applications and a peak of 201 applications in a single day.

Designed to provide a quick and punctual response to a pressing demand from certain sectors in immediate need of manpower (food trade, transport…), JobSwitch has carried out 537 matches and has facilitated the connection between unemployed, short-time working and self-employed staff with companies looking at quickly filling roles.

From the outset, this platform was conceived as a short-term project. The gradual recovery and the good management of companies faced with this crisis has led JobSwitch to ceasing its activities as of 30 April.

The Chamber of Commerce and its House of Entrepreneurship would like to thank all the project partners who contributed to the great success of the platform, namely the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Economy, ADEM, the Luxembourg Confederation of Commerce, Fedil, Horesca, the Chamber of Trades and the Chamber of Agriculture.
