Huawei has launched the 2020 edition of its Seeds for the Future. The educational program to take place in Luxembourg for the fourth time is dedicated to students with a strong interest in ICT.

The five-day technology and culture event is organized in tandem with the University of Luxembourg and Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg, with the support of Jonk Entrepreneuren (see our article Take part in an immersive technology experience with Huawei’s Seeds for the Future programme: application open).

Seven students have been selected for 2020’s session.

The program includes online courses, technological and cultural visits, virtual and live lectures, exchanges with employees, experts, as well as guest speakers from Huawei and other Chinese high-tech companies.

“Students will learn about cutting-edge technologies and get a more in-depth understanding of innovation needs in local markets, enabling them to better adapt to the ICT industry”, explained Dorothée de Nazelle, Huawei’s PR Manager, Luxembourg.

“The skills acquired through the program will give them more confidence, helping them stand out during their careers and within multi-cultural business environments”.

This initiative was launched by Huawei in 2008 and has been organized in Luxembourg since 2017 by the Chinese multinational technology company.
