Founders preparing for their first fundraising campaign can gain free insights into shareholder and investment agreements through a simulation game.
The “Be ready for your first fundraising campaign!” experience is being offered by Erasmus University Rotterdam and the House of Startups, from 11-16 April.
Full confidentiality is guaranteed to participating startup founders regarding their information and fundraising plans under a non-disclosure agreement signed by all simulation participants. Participation is free of charge.
To qualify, you must:
- Be fluent in English and be able to provide information in English;
- not have participated in a fundraising round before;
- be a startup incorporated in Luxembourg;
- be planning to fundraise in 2023 or early 2024.
The event is part of Erasmus University Rotterdam’s “European Corporate Finance Law Excellence Course”.
Registration closes 21 March. To register, email ecfl@law.eur.nl with a description of your startup and its upcoming fundraising round; CVs of the founder(s); a cover letter explaining why the startup would like to participate in the simulation.
