Six Startups Awarded At Mind & Market Luxembourg

During the fifth edition of the Mind & Market forum organized in Luxembourg, 22 companies had to imagine an innovative project in six different categories, ranging from SpaceTech to SportsTech. Six promising startups out of the 22 in the running were awarded at the fifth edition of Mind & Market in Luxembourg.

The event brings together creative project owners, disruptive startups, key entrepreneurs, innovative companies and potential investors. It acts as a facilitator for the growth of startups.

During the six sessions which took place from November 10 to 25, startups had to imagine an innovative project in one of the six proposed categories: SpaceTech, HealthTech, Sustainability, ManCoTech, SportsTech, PropTech. They then presented it to a panel of multidisciplinary experts and members of the startup ecosystem.

A virtual event

The awards ceremony, which took place on November 27, was a virtual event this year.

Mission Space, a Latvian company which designs and builds constellations of nanosatellites for earth and space observations, won in the SpaceTech category.

The HealthTech section awarded MyelinH, a Luxembourg-based startup the first prize for developing a software technology for the early diagnosis and remote monitoring of brain and infectious diseases.

TiQuest was granted first place in the Sustainability category for its smart digital assistant dedicated to physical shops and their customers. The Luxembourg-based startup also won a digital campaign across group RTL’s platforms.

Modus3 was awarded In the ManCoTech category for its smart task management platform for regulated companies.

Bounce and its sustainable solution which increases the lifespan of tennis and paddle balls was granted the SportsTech award.

RoomMate’s real estate management platform for medium to long-term rentals was awarded first prize in the PropTech category.

Mind & Market is an initiative organized by Deloitte Luxembourg, Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), Luxinnovation, University of Luxembourg, Mind & Market ASBL, Fedil, Paul Wurth InCub, Equilibre ASBL, RTL, Alter Domus and LuxProptech ASBL.

Deloitte Luxembourg sponsored the ManCoTech, SportsTech, and PropTech categories this year. The professional services firm offered a mentoring program to the three winning startups – Modus3, Bounce and RoomMate.
