Startups Shine As Graduates Of Founder Institute Benelux

The Founder Institute Benelux, a prestigious startup accelerator program, recently celebrated the graduation of six promising startups.

LebFay, Knytify, hackurity.io, StarAthlete, ULALO, and LetzCompare successfully completed the rigorous programme, showcasing the thriving startup ecosystem in Luxembourg and the effectiveness of the Founder Institute in nurturing local entrepreneurial talent.

The Founder Institute is a renowned global pre-seed startup accelerator that empowers aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into successful businesses. With a presence in over 200 cities worldwide, the programme provides a structured and intensive four-month curriculum that covers critical aspects of startup development, including idea validation, product development, market research, business strategy, and fundraising. By equipping founders with knowledge, skills, and resources, the Founder Institute has a proven track record of helping entrepreneurs launch successful startups.

The recent graduation of six startups from the Founder Institute Benelux is a testament to the programme’s impact on the region. These startups have demonstrated exceptional innovation and entrepreneurial spirit throughout the program.

Knytify, led by Aurélien Savart, offers a fraud detection and prevention SaaS for digital advertisers, that focuses on predicting, in real-time, the fraud propensity of a user.

Hackurity.io, founded by Felix Nagy, provides a comprehensive cybersecurity platform that helps organisations detect and mitigate vulnerabilities in their systems, safeguarding against cyber threats while also simulating real-world hacker attacks.

StarAthlete, founded by Ahmed Msheliza, is a sports management platform that helps athletes, scouts, and coaches showcase and find talent.

ULALO, led by Nathanael Tselentis and Fabrice Kwetchet, is an intuitive web platform that enables organizations to build multi-party workflows and exchange data securely and transparently without writing a single line of code.

LetzCompare, founded by Oleksandr Petrykov, is a price comparison website that helps families in Europe save money and time on their utility bills and gain control over their finances by giving personal advice to reduce fixed costs or get the best value out of their subscription.

LebFay, founded by Moussa Camara, is a Fintech Startup, with the ambition to improve the financial wealth of unbanked and unserved people and SMEs in West Africa.

The graduation of these startups from the Founder Institute Benelux marks an important milestone in their entrepreneurial journey. Through the programme, these founders have gained invaluable insights, mentoring, and connections to help them navigate the challenges of building and scaling a startup. They have also developed a strong network of fellow entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts, creating a supportive ecosystem that fosters innovation and growth.

Mentorship and diversity

“[We] started to connect more dots together, understanding how different communities act together, mentoring, advisor, legal and in more detail than just creating contracts,” said Oleksandr Petrykov, CEO of LetzCompare.

“[The] first word coming to my mind is diversity and [it was] really interesting to see people who are more tech-oriented and others, like myself, who are more marketing-oriented, help each other. [It was] a real benefit having such diverse profiles in the group and each with a different way of seeing things,” said Aurélien Savart, CEO and co-founder of Knytify.

The Founder Institute Benelux is gearing up for its next semester, set to take place in Autumn 2023 at a date yet to be announced. This new cohort will offer aspiring entrepreneurs in Luxembourg and the wider Benelux region the opportunity to benefit from the programme’s proven curriculum and mentoring network. Additionally, the selected founders will have the chance to benefit from the Silicon Luxembourg Fellowship, an initiative aimed at providing startups with valuable resources and connections to accelerate their growth.
