The University of Luxembourg will host its first TEDx event in September 2018. The first step is to put in place a dedicated and competent organizing team from the University. Read on to see who we need and what is expected.
The first ever TEDx event organized at and by the University of Luxembourg is scheduled for September 2018. In the spirit of TED’s mission, “Ideas Worth Spreading”, a TEDx event brings together outstanding speakers with a passion for sharing their thoughts and ideas on a diverse range of topics.
The license holder for TEDxUniversityOfLuxembourg, Prof. Jan Lagerwall at the Physics and Materials Science Research Unit, is now setting up the organizing team. Persons on the team will, in addition to deciding on the speaker line-up, be in charge of tasks such as web site and social media management, sponsor recruitment, audio/video recording, stage design and lighting, graphical design, ticketing and sales, speaker support, artist performances, administration/finance and catering.
