Luxembourg-based Telindus has partnered with global player Billit to offer a complete electronic invoicing service to its customers.

This move follows the introduction of the new law on electronic invoicing via Peppol (Pan-European Public Procurement Online), which mandates electronic invoicing for companies working with Luxembourgish public entities. The platform promotes the dematerialisation of trade and improves the efficiency of public procurement.

Billit, which is a certified access point provider, allows automated routing of invoices issued from Gesall.Net to Luxembourgish public administrations. This collaboration with Telindus will help the company meet market and customer needs, especially since electronic invoicing via Peppol is now mandatory.

Luc Bourdeaud’hui, Business Development Manager at Billit, said, “The partnership with Telindus is in line with Billit’s mission to make e-invoicing the standard for invoicing in Europe. Thanks to collaborations with partners such as Telindus, Billit strengthens its position on the European market and brings reliable and affordable Peppol solutions to entrepreneurs in Luxembourg.”

Jean Calçada, Head of Apsal & Gesall department at Telindus, highlighted that this partnership is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. The aim is to dematerialise as many documents as possible, including invoices. By collaborating with a trusted partner that specialises in electronic invoicing, Telindus can support its customers in migrating to electronic invoicing via Peppol.

Overall, this partnership between Telindus and Billit is an important step towards ensuring that businesses can comply with the new law on electronic invoicing via Peppol. As such, this collaboration will be beneficial for both companies and will help to strengthen Billit’s position on the European market.
