Job description

By joining our test consultancy team as a Test Consultant, you will help q-leap teams to provide assurance that our clients applications and system architecture meet their functional and non-functional requirements. Participate, with the other q-leap technical test consultants, in the extension, optimization and maintenance of existing automation frameworks.

As a Test Consultant, you’ll
  • Conduct research, survey and interview to understand the business
    perform static testing of design documents
  • Analyse test basis, create test condition, scripts and associated data and perform tests
  • Execute automated test scripts on multiple environments using multiple browsers and mobile/tablet devices
  • Detect issues and investigate ways to resolve them
  • Compile and present information orally, visually and in writing
  • Make recommendations for improvement
  • Train and coach users
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience (mandatory): developing test plans, test scenarios, test cases, execution of test case and documentation of test results
  • At least 1 year of experience: with one or more of the following tools: HP ALM/QC, IBM Rational Quality Manager or other similar test management tools in test automation including development and maintenance of automation scripts and frameworks
  • Understand the various approaches used in testing, including (e.g. desk checking), white box, black-box, load testing, coverage testing and regression testing
  • Proven track record using test tools, creating test scripts, test data
  • Experience in the banking and/or insurance domain

As added values, you’ll have

  • ISTQB certification
  • Experience with Mobile testing and test tools
  • Experience with developing industry specific testing accelerators and testing products
  • Good skills in one of these programming languages: Java, PHP, Ruby or Python
  • Understanding of TDD, ATDD and BDD concepts
  • Experience of defect tracking systems and configuration management tools

Language requirements: You are fluent both in English and French. (French being the mother tongue is mandatory)
