Swiss, German and US companies with relevant solutions for the Luxembourgish market pitched in front of 250 CISOs, DPOs, CIOs, CROs and VC on 13 October. SHAREKEY Swiss AG received the Pitching Contest’s People’s Choice Award.
On 13 October 2022, PwC Luxembourg held its PwC Cybersecurity & Privacy Day 2022 at its head office in Crystal Park. This year, the event covered all topics related to critical infrastructure protection and was well attended by CISOs, DPOs and CEOs.
During the event, five companies were running for the Cybersecurity & Privacy Solution of the Year Award 2022, the selection of which followed an international call for submissions for market relevant solutions.
The five finalists pitched in front of more than 250 people including CISOs, DPOs, CIOs, CROs and VCs of major companies from Luxembourg and abroad.
SHAREKEY Swiss AG awarded
The five participants included: Exeon Analytics AG, a Swiss cyber security company, dedicated to protecting enterprise IT environments through AI-driven security analytics; Filancore GmbH, a German company which offers SSI Identity Management, solution for IoT; Fortinium AG, a Swiss company offering secure web site access from any HTML; KeyCaliber, a US risk prioritization and resource optimization platform; SHAREKEY Swiss AG, a Swiss collaboration app, all-in-one designed to secure business privacy and dedicated to executives, board members, legal and finance.
The pitchers were: Hervé Blanc (SHAREKEY Swiss AG), Roselle Safran (KeyCaliber), Sven Feuchtmüller (Filancore GmbH), Rey Schallberger (Fortinium AG) and Gregor Erismann (Exeon Analytics AG).
Following the pitch session SHAREKEY Swiss AG received the Pitching Contest’s People’s Choice Award conferred by the audience.
The five companies remain in competition for the Cybersecurity & Privacy Solution of the Year Award. The name of the winner will be announced on 20 October 2022, during the Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg Award Ceremony and Gala Dinner.
“The award will recognize the candidate that demonstrated excellence at all levels, from strategy to execution,” PwC explained. “The winners will have the opportunity to gain credibility with international investors and corporate stakeholders, to increase their visibility through international media exposure and to benefit from professional coaching by the PwC team”.
Survey release
PwC released the results of its first edition of a survey dedicated to CISOs, ISOs, DPOs and privacy experts in Luxembourg. Out of the shadows: CISOs and DPOs in the spotlight!
The presentation was hosted by Alain Hermann and Marc Lemmer (both Data Protection Commissioner at Commission Nationale pour la Protection des Données, CNPD), Cédric Mauny (President of CLUSIL), Antonin Jakubse (Privacy Senior Manager at PwC Luxembourg) and Maxime Pallez (Cybersecurity Senior Manager at PwC Luxembourg).
