Fleetback is a scaleup whose digital solution for car dealerships promises to save time while increasing client sales and end-customer satisfaction.

Such is also the case for Fleetback, a startup gone scaleup, that promises to save time for car dealerships, increase their revenue and give more transparency and agency to their customers.

“We removed the barrier that existed between car dealerships and their customers,” says Lena Pignon, marketing officer at Fleetback. “With Fleetback, you have a dedicated interface which helps car dealerships communicate with their customers and allows them to approve or reject unplanned repairs.”

Fleetback’s interface not only give the customers more agency but also saves the dealerships time because they no longer need to call the customer – a simple video message or text message is enough. Other features cherished by the customers include tracking the status of their repairs and a live chat functionality.

Interestingly these features have increased the average basket value of customers, proving that transparency does not always have to come at a higher cost.

While these parts of their solution clearly benefits the end-user, Fleetback also simplifies the lives of the staff working at the car dealership. Indeed, it works as an internal communication tool that allows the technicians and the service advisors to communicate more seamlessly. Furthermore, Fleetback supports the creation of a pre-defined checklist, asking the customers for deadlines and it accepts online payments – a feature that became very popular during the pandemic.

The sales and afte sales side of Fleetback helps dealerships increase their reputation and trust, send digital quotes and even allows the them to present their cars to interested customers from a distance.

Towards An Ecosystem Of Solutions

With more and more car dealerships increasing the range of their services, Fleetback has decided to expand its range of solutions. Still available separately, all their modules (Sales, After-Sales and Audit) are part of an ever-evolving ecosystem of digital solutions.

“We want to make sure all dealerships can do everything which is why we’re moving towards being an ecosystem of solutions,” explains Lena

Purchasing all four solutions will not become mandatory however. Fleetback will let their clients select from among multiple modules, ensuring they only use the solutions that fit their dealership.

“We realised many people in the industry are older and don’t necessarily have the affinity for six different digital solutions. Combining ours all in one package gets rid of this problem,” says Lena.

With offices in Belval and over 2000 customers all around the world, Fleetback is working hard on continuing its European expansion. Part of the IT consultancy Arηs, Fleetback was first launched back in 2015 and has been existing as a separate legal entity since 2019.
