At only six months old, Silicon Luxembourg is still in its infancy. However, in those short six months, the new media venture has grown very rapidly from an unknown local entity to an online startup gaining national, and even international, attention.
Indeed, the website has garnered over 30,000 page views and 10,000 unique visitors in its shorts lifespan. Every day leads to more website visits, Twitter followers and Facebook likes. We are proud of the progress Silicon Luxembourg has made and the support it has received from the startup ecosystem in Luxembourg; however, we know that if we want to be the best, we need to continue to provide the best in terms of startup news and events. Thus, when the opportunity to host one of the top U.S. entrepreneurs at a Silicon Luxembourg talk show arose, we jumped at the opportunity!
Rhett Power will be in Luxembourg for a few days in the middle of may to participate in an event hosted by the U.S. Embassy. He will be infusing his entrepreneurial spirit into Luxembourg as he mentors Luxembourgish high school students through a startup competition. However, he didn’t want to stop with just coaching high school students. He wants to speak to the entire Luxembourgish startup ecosystem and promote entrepreneurship to all!
