Tell us about your startup.

F4A, which stands for Food4All, is a direct solution attacking food waste at supermarket by connecting demand to need. Our mission is to inspire the customers to buy consciously and have a positive impact on our planet. It is TIME to bring a solution to this worldwide issue. Here it is: F4A, a startup giving a second chance to products that are aimed to be thrown away.

How did you come up with the idea?

Having both studied in Luxembourg and abroad, we know the meaning of a restricted budget, and we weren’t alone on the issue. We are also a generation that is highly concerned about the future of our planet and we were shocked to find out how much food waste that humans produce.

There is strong correlation between food wasted and the lack of ability to afford healthy nutrition. We created a win-win situation for every stakeholder.

What are your products/services?

Our services consists in promoting products approaching their “best before” date and in inspiring our customers with daily recipes made from our promotions. To better our customers’ experience, we will provide a friendly-user App that we will constantly improve to satisfy and facilitate their needs.

The effect of our mission goes beyond our services by creating awareness and a community via our different social media platforms.

“Our target consumers are people with a lower budget, but of course everybody is welcome to join the cause. Who wouldn’t like to pay less for their groceries and have a positive influence for the future of our planet?”

What is your business model?

Food4All’s vision is to create future collaborations in a field that is marked by the lack of space for competition.

We are a software company that optimizes the sorting-out process and brings a new/forgotten customer segment to the supermarkets. With our services, our partners make money out of their losses, our customers have access to a larger choice panel and most importantly, we directly reduce food waste on for supermarkets.

Who are your clients?

Our target consumers are people with a lower budget, but of course everybody is welcome to join the cause. Who wouldn’t like to pay less for their groceries and have a positive influence for the future of our planet?

What’s next?

We would like to see Luxembourg at the top of the environmental field, so we want to expand nationally first. We have a worldwide vision for F4A, as this is a global issue, and we want to be the leaders of our generation on this matter.
