YourIdealOffice has joined the Founders Club. CEO Thomas Cougouille Lauro tells us more about the company.

Can you pitch your startup in a few words?

YourIdealOffice (YIO) is a booking platform dedicated to remote working in third places. The main objective is to connect owners of suitable properties and companies that want to offer their employees – for attraction or retention purposes – the possibility to work remotely, from a pleasant location, several days a year.

YIO is a win/win/win situation: more productivity for companies, more well-being for employees and more revenues for property owners.

Why did you decide to create this company?

We wanted to tackle 3 different challenges:

– difficulty for companies to attract/retain talents, the necessity to implement new Care Management habits

– issue for remote workers to find adequate places of work (out of their own houses), tendency to lose motivation in a non-changing environment

– lack of revenue for property owners during the so-called ‘low season’, difficulty in anticipating the quality of clients

What are your product(s)/service(s) and your business model?

We are feeding our platform with diversified properties – houses, apartments, villas, coworking spaces, hotel rooms, etc – that are adequate for remote workers. Our partners are diversified, from large companies managing thousands of properties around the world to private persons who want to get revenue from their secondary homes.

Our model is to take a percentage commission on the bookings. No booking, and no fee for the partner.

How is your offering different from your competitors and other market players?

We target mainly employers and allow them, through our remote working possibilities, to be proactive with the well-being of their employees. We align employees’ aspirations and companies’ objectives.

Depending on the property owners, we also offer additional services to the remote worker such as the possibility to be early-in/late-out or to have an EasyOffice Pack to be able to work in great conditions.

Why did you decide to join the LCI/House of Startups?

The LCI had the reputation of having perfectly equipped premises, a dynamic team of advisers and nice startupers to get in touch with. Being located there for the past 6 months, I fully confirm every single point listed above. We feel at the right place, at the right time!

What’s next?

Our website is fully operational. Additional features will come throughout 2024 and beyond. We will start the ‘real’ marketing campaign in the coming weeks and multiply the events/prospects meetings in Luxembourg and in the Greater Region to promote our solution.
