Young minds can explore coding, electronics and space engineering while building and testing a CubeSat-inspired model at the University of Luxembourg.

The University of Luxembourg’s Scienteens Lab is putting space engineering into students’ hands this week. From 17 to 20 August, participants aged 14+ are exploring satellite architecture, programming, electronics and engineering while developing a small CubeSat-inspired model.

Using LEGO Education SPIKE, a Raspberry Pi and other components, they will build, test and troubleshoot their creations, alongside technical demonstrations and discussions of real space missions.

The four-day workshop is taught in English across the Belval and Kirchberg campuses. Places are currently full, with new applicants added to a waiting list.
