The main objective of the Milestone Makers program is to support and accelerate the path of early-stage entrepreneurs that bring concrete solutions related to the Covid-19 crisis, mainly in the sectors of health, technology, education, and food.

Due to the current situation, the participants will engage in a virtual version of the three-month entrepreneurial program.

Each participant will receive mentorship and coaching by industry experts. Most excitingly, among the business leaders and partnerships mentoring the program, figures the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), which closely works with the former first lady Michelle Obama. Michelle Obama will provide mentorship to the participants that bring solutions to major food challenges during this crisis. This means that if F4A graduates from the program, it will receive mentorship from Michelle Obama.

F4A will be working hard during this program to further develop its solutions, as the increase of access to healthy and affordable food for all is a top global priority.

As stated by Nancy E. Roman, President and CEO of Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA): “In the wake of Covid-19, consumers need access to healthy, affordable food now more than ever. Poor diets — a leading cause of diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic diseases — are partly responsible for the higher Covid-19 mortality rates we’re seeing which are also disproportionately impacting minority and economically disadvantaged populations (…) PHA is proud to partner with the Nasdaq Center to incentivize much needed innovation for healthy, ready-to-eat meals. By developing nutritious, affordable meal solutions for the convenience store market, entrepreneurs have the opportunity to fill a gap in the marketplace while providing consumers with healthy options they so desperately need right now.”
