Luxembourg-based fund-tech company Fundvis has raised €2.12M in pre-seed funding.
Confirmed on Wednesday, the round was supported by its existing shareholders and €1M via the Luxembourg Young Innovative Enterprise (YIE) programme.
According to Fundvis, the funds will enable the firm to build a Luxembourg-based AI infrastructure for secure, autonomous vendor and fund oversight. It will also strengthen the firm’s presence in Luxembourg with new hires in AI, technology, marketing and sales, and accelerate its expansion across European markets.
“AI continues to transform risk and compliance in finance […]”
Leonhard Kossmann, CEO of Fundvis
Established in Luxembourg in 2018 by Leonhard Kossmann to provide fund oversight and automate onboarding, due diligence, monitoring, incident management and regulator-ready reporting for funds, depositaries and ManCOs/AIFMs and banks, today the regtech firm has a small team based out of the Luxembourg House of Fintech, LHoFT.
“I’m very grateful to our investors, the Fundvis team, my family, and everyone who supported us along the way. That our existing investors chose to back our angel round and then fully finance the pre-seed round while significantly increasing their commitments reflects a shared belief in our approach,” CEO Kossmann said, adding: “As AI continues to transform risk and compliance in finance, we’re excited by the potential it holds to reshape the entire sector. It’s an exciting time for Fundvis to be at the forefront of this evolution.”
In 2024, Fundvis completed an angel funding round reported around €470k with Luxembourgish angels and an advisory board appointment announced alongside the round.
