Belgian mobile solutions provider, Movify, has acquired Luxembourg-based firm Reborn, which had been part of Docler Holding for the past four years. The move brings together 100 employees, and the newly strengthened group will continue to operate from its two locations in Brussels and Luxembourg. The transaction was facilitated by Tenzing Partners. This acquisition is set to help Movify to expand its offerings and enhance its synergies, as it looks to strengthen its presence in the mobile solutions market.

Movify is a consulting company focused on digital applications for financial services, telecom and media. The team specializes in service design, UX design, UI design, mobile and web development, and have a proven track record of creating outstanding digital experiences for their clients. Their focus on user-centric design and their ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and engaging interfaces sets them apart from the competition.

« Movify’s recent acquisition of Reborn is an exciting development for the company’s international expansion plans », tells Movify’s founder & CEO Louis Cornet. « This alliance is part of our ongoing growth strategy to expand our operations in the existing market and explore new opportunities. We want to strengthen our positioning by becoming a leading European player ». The company expects to operate in four more countries France, Switzerland, The Netherlands and UK in the next 10 years.

As a leading player in the Belgian market – the mobile applications developed by the company on behalf of its clients reach nearly 95% of the population – Movify has been committed to providing innovative digital solutions to its clients since its inception.

“We look forward to working together to continue to deliver innovative digital solutions both nationally and internationally.”

With a team of 70 highly skilled professionals, the company has grown rapidly over the past decade. This partnership with Reborn will not only expand Movify’s capabilities and enhance its service offering in Belgium and Luxembourg, but it will also provide the company with an international presence. With a shared vision and complementary expertise, the two companies are poised to continue developing their niche and delivering impactful projects to clients.

“We are delighted to welcome the talented team of Reborn to the Movify adventure and look forward to realizing the common vision of our two companies through impactful projects”, adds Cornet.

The choice of Luxembourg is significant for Movify. The company already collaborates with the main financial, telecom and media players in Belgium – Belfius, KBC, ING, Proximus, to name a few –, and sees Luxembourg as a natural evolution of its market.

As a Luxembourg-based company of 30 experts specialized in UX/UI design and web and mobile application development, and pioneers in the implementation of design systems, Reborn works for Luxembourg clients such as Banque de Luxembourg or Post Luxembourg.

“We feel fully aligned with the 4 members of the management team – Julien Perera, Didier Chandelon, Georges Jentgen and Sophie Rota – with whom we share common values and vision. By working together, we will be able to leverage our common expertise and provide even better services to our clients”, comments Movify’s founder & CEO. “We look forward to working together to continue to deliver innovative digital solutions both nationally and internationally.”

The acquisition is effective. Movify and Reborn teams are already working together. The names of the two companies remain for the moment as their local anchoring is strong.

“Tenzing Partners was happy to accompany Docler Holding as their exclusive financial advisor during the whole M&A process, from drafting the sell-side documentation and potential acquiror lists to engaging in the end with Movify and helping to come to the successful conclusion of this transaction,” tells Daniel Schneider, Partner at Tenzing Partners. “This cross-border transaction helped position the buyer in their international expansion.”

The same goes for Docler Holding, according to the CFO. “We warmly thank Tenzing Partners who accompanied us in this process and acted as our exclusive financial advisor.”
