The car classified website just announced a novel app that enables users to take pictures and identify any car they encounter on the street.
Car enthusiasts around the world can finally solve that age-old question of learning what model car just flashed past them. They just have to be fast enough to load mycar.lu‘s newest app.
A joint venture between Belgian-Dutch Mediahuis and the Swiss Tex Group, my.car.lu is a car classified site in Luxembourg that aims to simplify the car buying, selling, and identification process.
With its newly launched mycar.lu app, featuring an AI-powered “Picture Search” tool, users can take pictures of any car that passes their lens and instantly find the exact model on the company’s platform.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Picture Search feature to our users. We understand that the car buying process can be challenging, and we’re always looking for ways to make it easier. With this AI-powered tool, we’re simplifying the search process and delivering a new level of convenience,” says Axel Ophoff, project director of mycar.lu
The AI algorithms behind the app are designed to reduce the chances of false matches and quickly provide the user with a list of similar vehicles in case the pictured one is unavailable on the website.
The Picture Search feature is now available on the mycar.lu mobile app, which can be downloaded from both the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
