The Luxembourg-based fund and consulting company has launched a new platform designed to facilitate rapid and transparent interactions between startups, venture capitalists (VCs), and corporations.

INTEMA’s platform addresses the major investment-related requirements of all the stakeholders, including matching VCs and corporations with relevant startups, conducting company scoring for startups, comprehensive technical due diligence, offering global business expertise, and providing the chance to launch a pilot.

“We are thrilled to launch the INTEMA platform, which provides tools and opportunities for startups, VCs, and corporations to simplify the search and interaction, reducing the time and resources spent on the investment process”, said Alex Posternak, CIO and co-founder of INTEMA.

For startups struggling to raise funds, the platform makes it easy to connect with multiple VCs at once. Conversely, the platform aims to facilitate the scouting of startups for VCs and corporates.

“The platform assists each registered company to connect with a relevant and, most importantly, verified partner for potentially fruitful cooperation. Furthermore, VCs and corporations get the opportunity to conduct a technical, legal, or marketing audit of the startup they are interested in without leaving the platform,” explains Alex.

Startups will be able to assess their vitality and resilience through a specialised scoring model, which evaluates projects using 23 parameters across four blocks: team, change management, technology, and business.

“Any startup can apply to the platform, however, there are several screening stages. Initially, each project undergoes self-scoring. Following that, the platform enters into a contractual agreement with startups to start the search for an investor, which requires additional information about the founders and the company,” explains Alex.

Lastly, founders can seize the chance to assess the robustness of their technological solution during due diligence sessions led by esteemed experts from corporations such as AWS, Meta, Tencent Cloud, and others. As for VCs, due diligence equips them with tech insights on capabilities, potential market impact, and the long-term viability of potential investments.
