Swissquote Bank Europe has announced that Jack Ehlers has been appointed as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 January 2024.
As Swissquote Bank Europe’s COO, Jack Ehlers will lead and expand the operational capabilities of the Luxembourg-based bank as it writes the next chapter of its growth. He will report directly to CEO Dave Sparvell.
“Jack brings decades of experience in scaling fast-growing businesses, creating new products, and developing robust operational frameworks in financial services,” said Sparvell, adding: “Jack will play a key role in shaping the future of our company and ensuring our operational excellence as we expand our services into new products and new markets.”
Ehlers is an industry veteran with over thirty years of experience leading various business functions in fast-growing financial services companies in Europe, Asia, and the United States, including international market leaders Paypal, Alipay, and Bitstamp. This includes a proven track record developing alternatives to traditional financial services in electric money, alternative payment methods and cryptocurrency-based payments.
