Jobfirst: No CV Needed

Founded in 2020, Jobfirst is a talent acquisition platform which helps applicants apply for jobs without needing a CV and simplifies recruiters’ decision-making process. Having recently integrated ChatGPT into its platform, the solution is well-positioned to continue its expansion.

“We believe that the resumé is no longer a good tool to assess someone’s skills and motivations for the job, especially when it comes to blue-collar work,” says Maxime Belair, co-founder of Jobfirst.

Conceived out of a desire to help candidates struggling with résumés apply for jobs more easily, Jobfirst has streamlined the application process to take as little as 3 minutes. After filling out a simple questionnaire related to skills and completing Intelli7’s globally recognised personality test, candidates can apply for any job related to their field of expertise.

“We want to ease access to the job market for everyone and we want to help recruiters find the right candidates faster,” says Maxime.

Hiring with ChatGPT

The platform supports recruiters in this process in multiple ways. Firstly, its algorithm assesses the compatibility of candidates and ranks them for recruiters who can then easily get in touch with them through the platform. Secondly, it allows job postings to be sent to 25 job boards including LinkedIn, Indeed and Monster. Last but not least, a recent ChatGPT integration helps recruiters create updated job descriptions based on a couple of key descriptions.

“These features also help smaller businesses without designated HR departments to hire new candidates easily,” explains Maxime.

While Jobfirst was initially aimed at blue-collar and non-C-level workers, the platform has recently started hiring different profiles and already supported more than 24,000 people in finding new jobs and signed big companies such as SNCF and Carrefour. Currently, halfway through hitting its fundraising goal of €500k, Jobfirst has already set its eyes on expanding to more European countries.
