For the ninth edition of the WordPress Meetup Luxembourg on April 25, the organizers have decided to step up and make the WordPress Community in Luxembourg official. On this occasion, the monthly meetup will welcome two speakers from Agile Partner for a great talk about Agility and the SCRUM methodology.
WordPress Luxembourg
Founded by Laurent Maillard with the support of the WordPress Foundation, the WordPress Meetup Luxembourg has been running for 8 months now and “we couldn’t be more happy with the success it had so far”, says Laurent Maillard. “We already organized eight great talks with 15 people on average ranging from developers to designers, newbies and experienced end-users. With are now counting more than 100 members in the Meetup group and decided to make the WordPress Luxembourg Community official!”
“We have also three major announcements: (i) a brand new Slack group for all things about WordPress in Luxembourg, (ii) a brand new website wpluxembourg.com on which people can now subscribe to the Slack group and (iii) a new member in our team with Mathieu Sarrasin joining me as a co-organizer.”
Facilitate the work with WordPress by using the right methodology
As always, the organizers set up another great talk and are inviting two experienced professionals to share their knowledge and deliver a keynote about the Agile method: Sylvain Chery and Adrien Muller, respectively Director & Agile Coach and Senior Consultant at Agile Partner. In a practical and playful way, Sylvain and Adrien aim to give participants awareness about Agile and show them how it can benefit the daily work of a developer, a designer or a copywriter.
“During this session you will discover the spirit of Agile in a practical & fun way. You will also understand how Agile values are embodied into one of the most popular framework: SCRUM. At the end of the session you will get concrete examples of a few things you can start doing tomorrow to start your Agile journey,” adds Laurent Maillard.
