Luxembourg’s HPC provider and DataThings, a startup focussing on ML and live analytics, are partnering to better support their customers’ scaling ambitions and offer a wider range of services.

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, scaling fast and at the right moment is key to a company’s long-term survival. To ensure that their clients can meet this challenge, LuxProvide and DataThings have decided to join forces, ensuring ease of scalability all while meeting the strictest data sovereignty measures.

The technical team at LuxProvide will support DataThings in optimizing its technology – GreyCat – for enhanced performance. Through this partnership, DataThings will gain access to the massive processing power of the MeluXina supercomputer, enabling them to scale their client’s applications further and capitalize on its capabilities.

GreyCat was conceived to allow more performance with the available resources, pushing infrastructures to their limits before scaling. Combining DataThings’ relentless efforts for efficiency and MeluXina’s processing power will allow the partners to deal with larger datasets, and conduct real-time analytics and deeper simulations.

Testing projects

Both LuxProvide and DataThings will also guide customers who wish to test or experiment new solutions and services. Their partnership aims to support quick prototyping and the evaluation of return on investment through small-scale proof-of-concept setups, acting as an experimental laboratory for innovative ideas.

Both companies are already working on a project for one of their customers which will involve deploying the customer’s product on the MeluXina supercomputer, allowing them to experience the advanced capabilities firsthand.
