For the first Techie Night #16 of the new year, Silicon Luxembourg invited guests to Byborg for a presentation on cybersecurity in startup’s funding to equip CEOs and CTOs with strategic insights on integrating robust cybersecurity practices to safeguard their ventures and enhance their appeal to investors.
Around 50 developers, software engineers, CTOs and IT professionals joined for the presentation, which was led by Fabian Zsolt, Group Cybersecurity Lead at Byborg, with 15+ years of experience in building security programs and teams at Top 100 high traffic websites, technology companies, and payment systems.
Among others the talk deciphered the role of cybersecurity in the realm of mergers and acquisitions and funding for startups, further Zsolt presented real-world cases to illustrate how cybersecurity oversights can dramatically impact valuations and deal outcomes.
The event closed with a networking session to continue discussions on the ever-evolving tech landscape.
