For the Techie Night #22, Silicon Luxembourg had the pleasure to partner with the University of Luxembourg for their monthly tech event.
The event was hosted at the University of Luxembourg, Belval bringing together around 60 tech students, developers, founders and corporate professionals. The event was kicked off by introduction words by Prof. Christophe Ley (Associate professor in Mathematics) about the University of Luxembourg, their contribution to the Startup Ecosystem and the MIDAS team. Dr. Jack Hale (Research Scientist (Computational Mechanics)) continued with a technical presentation on the Future frontiers in Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) and how they play a key role in addressing a multitude of important environmental and technological challenges.
After questions round the event ended in a networking session where participants could further exchange perspectives and forge new connections in the luxembourgish tech ecosystem.
The techie night proved to be once again a resounding success! Many thanks to the University of Luxembourg for partnering with us in the organization of this event and to our sponsor SANDAL for the support as well.
