The social fashion app which wants to re-invent the shopping experience by combining Big Data, Omnichanneling and Social Shopping, is now available on Android and iOS.

Merging online and in-store shopping, SCROBLE enables its users to easily search for, organise and share their fashion discoveries with the SCROBLE community. Conceived in Luxembourg, the application makes use of a highly intuitive user interface to offer its users a real mobile ‘phygital’ shopping experience.

“We want to make in-store shopping more exciting, interactive and efficient, bringing the current state of retail to another level of functionality. Because even with the convenience of online shopping, most people still desire to experience fashion live,” says SCROBLE Founder and CEO Anna Salewski.

With retail stores having suffered a lot in the past two years, SCROBLE hopes to revitalise in-store shopping by bringing a digital twist to it. With SCROBLE, brands’ products are turned into digital assets which users can like, share or save in their digital wardrobes. This function also works in the ‘real world’ where users can scan products in fashion stores which will then also appear in the app.

While the online experience has made shopping easier for everyone, at the end of the day “nothing beats actually touching the products,” remarks Anna Salewski. “By simplifying and re-inventing the buying experience and bringing digital to in-store shopping, we create this seamless ‘phygital’ retail world. SCROBLE will enhance the online shopping experience, but also bring people back to their local stores.”

Improved Customer Interaction

With the help of its integrated Business Intelligence Platform, SCROBLE also aims to improve the interactions between customers and retailers. By giving retailers new insights about their customers, the former will be able to provide better marketing services and tailor their services to the desires of their customers.

On top of that, their press release states that the data element will help retailers reduce over-production while at the same time helping them increase profitability and sustainability metrics.

Having already acquired more than 50 selected national and international brands, SCROBLE is looking to expand to several other European countries throughout the year.
