Technoport & Jeju Science Park Join Forces For Startup Growth In EU-Asia Markets

Technoport and JDC (Jeju Science Park, South Korea) have joined forces in a strategic cooperation aimed at supporting the development and growth of startups in key sectors. The collaboration was announced during the VivaTech conference, one of Europe’s largest trade fairs dedicated to innovation and startups.

Both Technoport and Jeju Science Park (JDC) are renowned technology business incubators, and their partnership aims to establish excellence in technology business incubation while fostering exchanges between the EU and Asia.

The strategic collaboration between Technoport and JDC involves identifying the strategic resources and support that can be provided to technology startups to succeed in the EU-Asia markets.

Key collaboration domains, such as new energy, agetech, new mobility, and AI & quantum computing for industry, have been identified as focus areas. By working together, the incubators aim to create a supportive and collaborative environment that will help startups overcome market challenges and bring their innovative solutions to life.

The announcement of this collaboration took place during the VivaTech conference in Paris, where Luxembourg and South Korea were both participating with a national pavilion.

The presence of Luxembourg’s Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot, highlighted the importance of this partnership in fostering innovation, startups, and digital technologies between the two countries.

The memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed between Technoport and JDC strengthens their collaboration and mutual support for young entrepreneurs and innovation in Luxembourg and South Korea.

The collaboration will also be showcased at the IASP 2023 world congress, which will be held in Luxembourg in September 2023, further highlighting the significance of this partnership in the global innovation landscape.
