Magrid Makes It To JCI World Congress Finals

Having won the European Creative Young Entrepreneur at the Junior Chamber International (JCI) 2022 European Conference, the language-free math edtech progresses to the JCI world congress in Hong Kong to compete in the finals in late October 2022.

Beating seven other competitors from all over Europe, the edtech continues its impressive form and adds another title to the growing list of accomplishments. 

Winning the European Creative Young Entrepreneur award at the JCI 2022 European Conference comes only a year after winning the Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg and EIB Social Innovation Tournament awards. 

Tahereh Pazouiki, Phd and CEO of the University of Luxembourg spinoff was quoted saying: “Creating a positive social impact has always been a key motivation for my team and I, and JCI, who share a mutual mission, has helped us once again on our path. It means a lot to the Magrid team to have been chosen as winners and we are grateful for all the support and praise from those around us,” said Pazouki.

The JCI competition which took place in Bruges featured more than 2000 JCI members, all of whom are dedicated solve local challenges and making a positive impact in their communities.

Already working with schools in France, Portugal and the UK, Margid’s solution has garnered a lot of attention from schools in the US where they plan to roll out their solution extensively as soon as their studies get replicated there.

Their win at the JCI 2022 European Conference guarantees Margid a spot at the JCI World Congress in Hong Kong to compete in the finals in late October 2022.
