All Square® shortlisted for revered Red Herring Top 100 Award


(Palo Alto, CA – April 7, 2014) All Square®, the new social network designed exclusively for golfers, is among the 100 finalists selected to present at the Red Herring Top 100 Europe event, taking place in Amsterdam on April 7­‐9, 2014.

The Red Herring Top 100 Europe event celebrates innovation, entrepreneurship and the exceptional accomplishment of European technology companies as future global players – a prestigious list honouring the year’s most promising private technology ventures from the European business region.

The nominees for the Red Herring Top 100 Europe Award are evaluated on 20 main quantitative and qualitative criterion, which include measures of disruptive impact, market footprint, proof of concept, financial performance, technology innovation, social value, quality of management, execution of strategy, and integration into their respective industries.

On April 8, the Luxembourg‐based company will present its new All Square® network which connects the passion and power of people’s love for golf on one completely free, accessible and engaging social media site to a judge and the entire Red Herring forum, comprising venture capitalists, business development executives from large corporates and the media.

Commenting on the finalists for the 2014 edition of the RedHerring 100Europe award, Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring, said: “This year wasrewarding, beyond all expectations. One all the Finalists have presented their winning strategies at the Red Herring Europe Forum, Top 100 winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on the evening of April 9.

All Square® was founded by Patrick Rahme and business partner Arthur de Rivoire after they met at the HEC University of Lausanne, Switzerland, while studying economics and business administration. Rahme, who also studied at the London School of Economics, and de Rivoire are both elite amateur golfers and regularly represent the national teams of Luxembourg and Switzerland respectively.

The tech startup has also been selected by global professional services firm KPMG to join its K-­Start program for new businesses, and has partnered with Troon®, the world’s largest golf management company, to help develop its global platform and connect golfers in international markets.
