What is Banabar?

Banabar is a healthy and indulgent snack bar made from bananas. It comes in two tasty forms: Cacao & Hazelnut and Goji & Chia. It is perfect for those in-between meal cravings or a quick snack on the go.

What is it made out of?

Our main ingredient is the delicious banana. In addition, we add tasty extras like nuts, berries and seeds. Every bar is 100% plant-based, with no added fillers.

What about nutrition?

With natural goodness comes a genuinely balanced and nutritional snack. Each 40g bar contains the same sugar content (15–16g) as one regular-sized banana, along with a healthy balance of protein (2.8–3.6g), fibre (3–4g) and fat (4–7g).

Where does it come from?

In creating Banabar, we’re committed to making a positive impact. We give 1% of our revenue to help support the banana farming communities we work with. Our bananas come from local organic farmers in Machala, Ecuador. The fruit is dried and shipped to Europe, and the bars themselves are hand-made in the UK.

Why will Luxembourg love Banabar?

The snack bar market is full of dates-based bars. It’s time for something new. As the only organic fruit and nut bar made using dried banana in Europe, Banabar offers the growing Luxembourgish organic market an exciting alternative to the norm.
