The Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg is expanding its support services to aid entrepreneurs facing adversity, building on achievements in managing insolvency issues in 2023. This expansion includes initiatives like the “RELOAD” mentoring program and the launch of a practical guide, included in the inauguration of the Entrepreneurial Rebound Day this spring.

In 2023, Luxembourg achieved a significant step forward in its approach to managing insolvency and bankruptcy issues. This accomplishment was attributed to the modernization of bankruptcy laws and the introduction of mechanisms to facilitate a fresh start following business failure.

Building on this step forward, the House of Entrepreneurship has started a key initiative supported by the Chamber of Commerce, in stepping up efforts to provide crucial assistance to entrepreneurs. Their focus lies in equipping entrepreneurs with tools and services designed to anticipate difficulties and nurture resilience.

To tackle these problems, the House of Entrepreneurship has initiated a series of programs aimed at detecting, raising awareness, and guiding struggling businesses. Notably, these initiatives are offered to entrepreneurs at no cost, emphasizing accessibility and inclusivity. Among these offerings is the free “RELOAD” program, a tailored mentoring initiative.

Designed for entrepreneurs seeking to rebound after setbacks, RELOAD provides personalized challenge sessions focusing on the overall viability of new businesses. Participants benefit from access to a supportive network of public figures and fellow entrepreneurs, alongside thematic workshops and methodological resources to facilitate their recovery journey.

Restoring confidence in entrepreneurs

Recognizing the value of proactive measures, the House of Entrepreneurship is launching an informative practical guide. This resource aims to empower entrepreneurs in anticipating difficulties and navigating obstacles successfully taking into account economic, regulatory, and financial aspects. By addressing prevalent fears of failure and feelings of isolation, the guide offers an in-depth analysis of common business challenges.

It proposes tangible measures to assist entrepreneurs from the onset of difficulty to the establishment of a new venture post-bankruptcy.

In an attempt to further raise awareness and foster community engagement, the House of Entrepreneurship will inaugurate the first Entrepreneurial Rebound Day. This event, scheduled for spring, as part of the Entrepreneurs’ Days, will serve as a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
