Everyone loves a good discount. With the new F4A Takeaway app users not only get the satisfaction of scoring a range of HORECA products at a discount, they also get to feel good about doing their part in tackling food waste.

Globally, around one third of all food is wasted. In Europe, the combined food waste of supermarkets and the restaurants amount to around 12%. Taking these two numbers into account, it is not hard to see why F4A is trying to put an end to food waste.

Everyone wins

Becoming a partner retailer with F4A Takeaway is a literal no-brainer. Partners not only benefit from a greener image, they also get access to 17,000 potential customers and a real shot at increasing their sales.

People often talk about how hard it is to be environmentally conscious. With F4A Takeaway it is an easy win-win where customer, owner and planet stand to benefit.

A simple solution

All it takes to start tackling food waste is to download the F4A Takeaway app and check whether the selection on offer piques your interest. The HORECA partners regularly upload their meals and Takeaway bags to the app which allows customers to easily place an order and pay – all of which is done through the app itself.

Once paid, the customer can collect the meal or bag within a given time frame decided by the F4A partner. This time frame is at the discretion of the F4A partner, so make sure to get there on time.

The list of current partners includes Cocottes, Victorine, Brasserie Guillaume and L’osteria, among others. Kaempff-Kohler, Coffee Fellows, Dean & David and others will be joining the list shortly. For a full list of F4A partners, download the app.

Founded in 2018 by Ilana Devillers, F4A, short for Food4All aims to give access to quality food to everyone while also enabling them to make a contribution in the fight against food waste.
