Launch Of The Luxembourg Space Federation

This is getting serious! Last night, during the sixth edition of the Luxembourg Space Café conference, Kyle Acierno, Managing Director Europe of SpaceTech startup iSpace – an initiator of the series of events – announced the launch of the Luxembourg Space Federation in front of a packed room at BIL, and in the presence of the Minister of Economy Etienne Schneider and Marc Serres, CEO of the Luxembourg Space Agency.

Hydrosat and Made In Space, two other SpaceTech startups based in Luxembourg are joining iSpace to develop the Luxembourg Space Café concept and bring together the growing space community in Luxembourg.

“The honest truth is that we’re gonna be very busy and it is very hard for us to continue in a professional manner. So what we thought is that it is important to continue this kind of event. We want to continue to build this community but we don’t want to do it ourselves. We decided to develop a non-profit called the Luxembourg Space Federation and the first 3 companies to join this federation are iSpace, Hydrosat and Made in Space. Basically this organization is going to be responsible for continuing to organize the future of the Space Cafés. We’ll continue to look out for support . We feel also it will benefit to the country”, said Kyle Acierno.
