Coworking is booming and the demand for inspiring workspaces has never been higher in Luxembourg. Spaces wants to be present in all the major cities of the world. In the Grand Duchy, the coworking network plans to open eight branches by 2022.

What is Spaces?

Spaces was founded in Amsterdam in 2006 and offers an inspiring working environment for professionals and growing companies.

Spaces aims to provide an inspiring work environment driven by an entrepreneurial spirit where ideas are turned into reality, companies have the space to grow and where quality relationships are built.

Simple workstations, spaces of several hundred square metres, short term, long term… All customer needs can be satisfied.

What do you aim to achieve in Luxembourg?

The first Luxembourg Spaces has just opened its doors, ‘Spaces Place de la Gare‘. In June, the Spaces Boulevard Royal will open its doors in a prestigious building at the Boulevard Royal. In 2022, Spaces will also move into Gasperich. It will be built on five floors in a brand new building near La Cloche D’Or.

Globally, the office concept is also evolving rapidly: at the end of 2019, the Spaces community had more than 300 locations worldwide.

Can you describe the first building across the central station?

The Luxembourg ‘Spaces Place de la Gare’ is located in the brand new Impulse building on the Place de la Gare where KBL’s headquarters used to be. With 6,400 m² of innovatively designed offices, coworking spaces and 6 meeting rooms on 7 levels, the Luxembourg Spaces Place de la Gare is quite simply the largest coworking space in the country at the moment.

What is the positioning of Spaces in your IWG group, especially alongside Regus?

Spaces aims to create a creative, personal and stimulating work environment in which a community of startups, entrepreneurs, SMEs and visionary (inter)national companies can meet and inspire each other. Various services are offered to this community such as free Wi-Fi, a coffee bar, administrative support, an extended set of business events and networking lunches.

Another feature of the Spaces is the innovative design of its venues, thanks to the work of renowned designers.

How much does it cost?

Membership – with an access to the Business Club (coworking area) during office hours – amounts to 226 euros per month, And, a private office with access to the Business Club amounts to 386 euros per month.
