The Office Opens A Second Coworking Space In Luxembourg City

Finally. Gosia Kramer overcomed 8 months of intensive work and construction to open The Office City in the city center of Luxembourg in a former annexe of the national library. Long story short, The Office City opens two years to the day after the number The Office Charlotte in Belair, a disused garage that took also months to transform into an industrial chic place.

With now 2,200 m2 across the two spaces, startups, freelancers and companies can now enjoy a new astonishing place to leverage their businesses and meet like-minded people.“This new space is an exciting sequel to The Office Charlotte. You can tell they are both from the same family, but they definitely have own unique personalities. The coworking scene in Luxembourg is booming right now and with so much demand, The Office City couldn’t be opening at a better time”, told Gosia Kramer.

No official grand opening party has been planned by the team yet. Anyone who would like to stop by spontaneously is welcome ! Indeed, since a few months The Office’s waiting list is fully booked and dozens of freelance workers and startups already shown an interest in having a desk – or more – in the new co-working space. For you to know, the furniture was tailored made to the new way the people work and supplied by Manufacture du Design from Paris.

“Gosia lives and breathes entrepreneurship, which translates to the building not just a place to work, but a real startup and scale-up ecosystem. We are very proud and excited that we can continue to grow our business from our amazing new office, in The Office!”

No doubt this new address will meet with success. While the workers were carrying out the finishing touches, Gosia confided “there have been highs and lows since two years but it never change my mind and my conviction we need to stick together and to create a vibrant community. I came up with the idea of The Office to offer a friendly and welcoming spot for all those entrepreneurs working from home or in a café or anywhere in order to involve them in the ecosystem. Flexibility at work and flexible work places are the future of work, right ?”

The first mover will be Governance’s team who will take up the first floor. We asked Bert Boerman, the CEO of the RegTech startup about his decision to extend the office and stay in the coworking space. “Governance.com was the first resident of The Office in 2016. We were looking for an inspiring working place that reminds us every day that we are doing something special. I can say that it was everything we were looking for and more, led by, not unimportantly, one of the best businesswoman in Luxembourg. Gosia lives and breathes entrepreneurship, which translates to the building not just a place to work, but a real startup and scale-up ecosystem. We are very proud and excited that we can continue to grow our business from our amazing new office, in The Office!”

We can also unveil today that Gosia’s plan is in the early days of an unstoppable expansion. Early next year, a third coworking place will open its doors in the north of Luxembourg. 300 square meters in the city of Wiltz will be dedicated to the commuters coming both from the north of the country and the belgian border. A little bird told me that The Office should also announce the opening of coworking spaces beyond the borders in the near future!
